Furbearer Kit

We borrowed the Furbearer Kit from the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Dept.  We have been observing and noticing the skulls, pelts and tracks of  many different Vermont Fur Bearing animals.  Game Warden, Keith Gallant stopped in to teach us about these Vermont animals and about his job as a Game Warden.

Valentine's for the Birds

We made heart shaped bird feeders for our feathered friends and hung them so we could watch them come to the feeders to eat.

Nature Trail Hike

Looking for animal tracks in the snow while walking on the Nature Trail during our Friday Explorer time.

Chili Cook-Off

Kindergarten and 1st Grade chefs are cooking again......this time chopping veggies for our chili to be entered into the PTO Chili Cook-Off.

Stockbridge Post Office Visit

Great trip to our local Post Office.  We all wrote a letter to our family and purchased stamps and mailed the letters at the Post Office.  Dori Trudeau taught us about her job at the Post Office.  We had an opportunity to unlock mailboxes, buy and cancel stamps, mail letters and go behind the scenes to see what happens in the back of the Post Office.

Celebrating our 100th Day of School

We made 100 day necklaces from Fruit Loops, 100 day crowns, 100 day glasses and counted out 100 pieces of goldfish, pretzels, cheerios and mini marshmallows for our 100 day snack mix.
