Force, Motion and Friction

 We had a great time exploring Force and Motion as we raced our cars down the ramps.  Through lots of thinking, measuring and problem solving we were able to determine how the height of the ramp affects the distance our cars would travel. 

Lots of predicting, observation and discussion about "friction" going on as we added texture to our ramps.   We were trying to answer the question: How does texture on the ramp affect how far the cars will travel? 

Popcorn Salad

We are ready to head to other classrooms to sell our Popcorn Salad for the second time this school year.  At the end of the year, we will donate our money to a charity of our choice.

Kindness Heroes

We met and exceeded our challenge to earn 100 Kindness Hands.   We decided to decorate capes and masks so we could become "Kindness Heroes" delivering kindness throughout the school.

 Today we delivered hand-print stain-glass cookies with a heart in the center to all classrooms in the school.  (small school with a BIG heart)

Everyone loved our cookies and the kind gesture!!
