Our 100th Day of School

We had so much fun celebrating our 100th day of school with our 2nd and 3rd grade friends!

We read 100 books today during reading buddy time with our 2nd and 3rd grade buddies.  

We made 100 day glasses, crowns and fruit loop necklaces.  

We counted out 100 of our manipulative and used them to create "things".

We designed and decorated our own t-shirts to wear on our 100th day of school.

Beautiful day to build snow sculptures and go for tobaggan rides!  

We Love to Read: on Pizza Day

 Special thanks to Ms. Sam for being our guest reader today.  She read The Little Red Hen Makes a Pizza. 

After listening to the story, we all made chef hats.  

We were all eager to make our own pizzas.  Special thanks to Ms. Pam for mixing the dough and preparing everything for this amazing opportunity.  

We each ate our own pizza for lunch today.  

We Love to Read: on "Books & Bagels" Day

We loved having our families come to school to read to us or to listen to us read on "Books and Bagels" Day.  

After reading, we shared delicious homemade bagels from The Wild Fern with our families.  

 

We Love to Read: "beach day" reading

We had a great time reading with our 2nd and 3rd grade buddies today.  We sat in beach chairs, wore our sunglasses and/or wrapped ourselves in beach towels while reading.  

Special thanks to guest reader, Joanne Mills.   She read a book about the ocean and gave us all a pair of sunglasses.  

We love our cool sunglasses.  Thank you Mrs. Mills.
