Hike to Mt. Tom

 Mt. Tom Hike on "Western Day"  Where were the horses?  We had a great hike from Prosper Road to the Pogue and back.  While circling around the pogue we noticed frog eggs, 2 geese and 3 mallard ducks!

Making Muffins

We are cooking again......this time making Applesauce Maple muffins with the syrup from the Begin's sugar house. 

 We made enough muffins for everyone in the school to taste them. 

 Everyone completed a taste test ticket.  Some added stars and comments!

 We made a graph with all of our taste test tickets.  47 people liked our muffins, 4 people sort of liked them and 4 people did not like them. 

We each wrote our "recipe" for the muffins. 

Health/Wellness Fair

 All students participated in our Health/Wellness Fair activities: bicycle safety, yoga, dodge ball and smoothie bikes.  Students chopped berries before putting them into the blender.

" Pedaling to mix the smoothies is so much fun."

 "It is really mixing everything up!"

A smoothie toast.  "Mmmm this is good."  Thank you BCBS for letting us borrow the bikes!

Friday Explorers

 Sit spot noticing.  "It is beginning to snow"!  The field was covered with snow as we walked back to school.  (April 6)  Is it really Spring?

 Bubbles in the snow.  "I caught one"!

Hot chocolate and s'mores by the fire.  "Best day ever"!
