Green Up Day

 

We spent some time on Friday cleaning and greening up around the school grounds.  Thank you friends for your hard work!  

Excavating Equipment

 

Special thanks to Chuck Colton for teaching us about his excavating equipment and for letting us climb inside each piece and pretend to drive.  So much fun!

Wetland Investigation

 

We had a great time investigating tadpoles and looking for other "things" in the wetland area!

Sheriff Ryan Palmer

 

Special thanks to Windsor County Sheriffs Palmer and Samataro for stopping by school to teach us about their job as a sheriff and to let us sit in their car!  

Pine Hill Park

 

We had a great Spring Hike through the Pine Cone Adventure Trail at Pine Hill Park.  We stopped and explored at all 12 stations.  

We climbed Big Elephant Rock!

We collected sticks and built forts in Stick City.

We built designs with natural materials in the Balance Station.  

We hopped on stumps.  

We built Fairy Houses.  

We used the rope to climb to the top of the hill and back down again.  

We looked to see if the troll was hiding under the bridge. 

We measured the Giant White Pine trees.  

We took turns reading the story along the trail.
