Books and Bagels

Reading with our cohort buddies from 2nd and 3rd grade. So much fun to buddy read even if we can't sit right next to each other this year.

Popsicle-stick Shapes: Problem Solving Task
Sue has 19 popsicle-sticks. She wants to make 5 square shapes. Can Sue make her 5 squares if she uses 19 sticks?
Explorers: Cone Exploration
We found different cones and recorded our observations of them.
We recorded what we saw and heard looking across the field.
Native American Culture
We have been exploring native American culture.
We wrote picture stories on "skins".We created designs with colored sand.
We made our own Totem Poles and colored some as well.

Book Club Discussion Group
We each marked pages we wanted to share with the group and jumped right into our discussion of If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. Lots of great sharing of ideas and thinking around the story.
We sipped hot chocolate and of course, ate chocolate chips cookies after our Book Club discussion.
All School Celebration: Decorating t-shirts
We had a great time decorating our Stockbridge Central School t-shirts.
We used Bingo dabbers and sharpies to create some awesome designs!!
We created designs on the front and the back of our shirts!
