Bike Ride

Super fun bike ride out the Government Road in Pittsfield!

Some of us avoided every puddle we saw while some of us rode straight through every single one!!

Perfect day for a bike ride with our 2nd and 3rd grade friends.  

 

Reading Group Puppet Show: A Pizza for Horse

 

Practicing for our Puppet Show.  We read the book, highlighted our parts in the script and made the puppets.

After reading Fingerprint Fun,  these two students wanted to teach the rest of the class how to make fun art with your fingerprints and some ink!!

All School Pizza Celebration

 

We each made our own pizzas today for lunch!!  Shaping the dough was the first step.  

Next we added the sauce.  

Then we added toppings.  

The finished pizzas all looked different but tasted delicious!

VINS visit

 

Special thanks to Caitlin from VINS for bringing three live birds to SCS.  She taught us many interesting facts about these three Raptors!!

Edible Flowers

 

We used fruits and veggies to create yummy flower designs.

Nature made Wild Flowers

 

We collected sticks, stones and cones and made them into flowers in the sand.

Fun time observing, drawing and learning about different Wild Flowers.  

Edible Bird Nests

Edible bird nests were easier to make than ones made from natural materials in the woods.  

They were so yummy!!
