Eating a Rainbow

 

After learning about the benefits of eating foods from all of the food groups, we filled our plates with pictures of our favorite foods from each food group.  

Fiction Reading Tea

 

We each read a page from one of our "fiction" books and told why that book was a Fiction story.  

We enjoyed  "tea" and snack after reading.  

Puppet Show: The Mouse and the Lion

 

We practiced our reading skills as we highlighted scripts and performed our first puppet show of the school year.  

Baking Bread

 

After learning about the "grain" food group, we made our own shaped bread today.  We had several turtles, a cow and a long neck!
