Our Community Helpers center is open.  Lots of imagination, conversation and fun happening during Center and Choice Time!

Mud Kitchen is Open!

 

Lots of mixing, measuring and working together as we create "yummy" treats in our Mud Kitchen!

Sight Word Egg Hunt

 

We hunted for colored eggs outside.  

When we returned inside, we cracked open the eggs to find pieces of paper with letters on them.  Our task was to put the pieces together to spell some of our sight words.  

Instruments in Music Class

We had a fun time playing instruments with Ms. Homan during music class today.  

 

Pine Hill Park

 

We had an amazing trip to Pine Hill Park exploring the 12 different stations in Pine Cone Adventure Forest!

Designing and Building Instruments

 

At the end of our Sound unit of study we each created our own instrument from recycled materials and formed the K/1 Rock Band.  

Humpty Dumpty STEM Egg Drop Challenge

Super, fin time with our BIG Friends designing a way to protect Humpty Dumpty (uncooked egg) from breaking when falling off a wall.

 

Popcorn Salad

 

We made Popcorn Salad yesterday.

We visited the other classrooms this morning to sell our Popcorn Salad.  At the end of the year, we will donate the money to a charity of our choice.
