Spring Hike

 

We had a beautiful day for a picnic lunch and our Spring Hike at the Robert Frost Interpretive Trail.  

Puppet Residency

A HUGE thank you to Barbara from No Strings Marionettes  for helping us create these amazing puppets.  We used the puppets to tell our own version of "Chicken Little."  

 

BIG Friend/Little Friend: Egg Drop Challenge

 

We had a great time trying to create a way to help protect our eggs( aka Humpty Dumpty)  from cracking when gently pushed off the wall.   We used straws, cotton balls and masking tape.   

Word Work with Plastic Eggs

 

On Friday, we went on an egg hunt.  We each found six eggs and solved the word puzzles inside.  So much fun!  

Enjoying Maple Syrup

 

This week we used some of the maple syrup from our Sugar House visit.  We enjoyed pancakes for snack one morning.  

We also had a Sugar-on Snow party tasting our maple treat with bites of doughnut and pickles!  

Sugar House Field Trip

 

Many thanks to Laurie and Dan and family for letting us visit their sugar house.  We had a great time learning how sap is boiled and turns into maple syrup.
