This week we began our Maple Sugaring Unit of study. Special thanks to Dan Novotny for stopping by school to teach us all about tapping maple trees. We each had an opportunity to drill the hole, tap in the spout and hang the bucket on our own tree in back of the school. We will check and gather sap as it flows!
