Sugaring Season: Tapping Trees

Special thanks to Dan Novotny for stopping by school to teach us about tapping maple tres.   

We all had a chance to try the old fashion hand drill and the power drill.  The power drill was SO much easier!  

 

We all hammered a spout into the hole we drilled.  

The last step was to hang the buckets!
