We borrowed the Solar FUNdamentals kit from VEEP (Vermont Energy Education Program) . During this lesson students are engineers collecting data on what happens to the path of light when different materials are put in the light's path. We learned that certain materials block the sun's rays from reaching earth's surface. Other materials allowed the sun's rays to reach the surface.
